Milford Little League is pleased to announce that we will be playing ball this summer!

Youth sports, including softball and baseball, are included in Phase 2 of Reopening Connecticut.  The Governor has released guidelines that we will strictly adhere to, and Milford Little League has submitted our proposal to the Milford Department of Health for approval.  We have put together some frequently asked questions (this page will be updated as we have more information) for our league families.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • When will the season begin and end?

The season will begin with practices no earlier than June 17, 2020.  Game play will begin on Monday, July 6.  The season will finish by August 31, 2020.  There will be no playoffs this season.

  • How many games can I expect my child to play?

We anticipate a minimum of 12 games in all divisions except for t-ball.  T-ball will have one game per week on Saturday or Sunday morning.

  • I registered for Spring 2020, what do I need to do for my child to play?

Your child's spring 2020 registration has automatically been updated to Summer 2020 unless you had previously requested to cancel your registration.

  • I did not register for Spring 2020, can my child still play?

We have reopened registration for Summer 2020 through Friday, June 12.

  • What precautions is the league taking to keep my child and family safe?

The league will be adhering to all of the State of CT guidelines, including, but not limited to: requiring face coverings of all coaches, umpires, volunteers, and spectators; frequent disinfection of bathrooms, dugouts, and balls; staggering start times of games and including time between games to prevent overlap; and eliminating handshakes and huddles.  Full details are included in the league's reopening plan which was submitted for approval to the Milford Department of Health.
